National Leadership Summit on Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health

"NAESM was well-represented at the National Leadership Summit on Eliminating Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health July 10 - 12, 2002 in Washington, DC. The Summit drew national attention to the existence of health disparities and to innovative approaches being implemented in our communities and at the local, State, National, Federal, and Tribal levels which address these disparities. The agency's Executive Director, Rudolph "Rudy" Carn, participated in a panel discussion to propose interventions designed to eliminate disparities in HIV prevention and care services.
