Donato "Nate"
Clarke
Deputy Director
Some know him as Donato, but others know him as
Nate. But which ever you call him, he’s also known as a young
promising professional in the HIV/AIDS prevention field.
Since starting at NAESM in 1998 (then AESM) as a
Program Assistant, Donato has proven himself to be a team player,
manager, leader, and role model for others to follow. While holding
and learning from various positions at NAESM, such as Prevention
Case Manager, Director of Health Education and Prevention, Director
of Young Adult Programs, and Capacity Building Assistance Program
Manager, his passion, intelligence, charisma, and professionalism
have led him to his current position as Deputy Director. His exceptional
track record at NAESM is as impressive as his ability to work full
time while completing his undergraduate studies at Georgia State
University. He is a Cum Laude graduate of the J. Mack Robinson School
of Business (Summer 2006).
Donato has worked on many projects at NAESM, including
2 national conferences, local community mobilization efforts, and
fundraisers. He’s also helped secured federal funding for
NAESM to provide HIV testing, health education, capacity building
assistance, and more.
Those who know him well understand that during this
spare time, he’s usually playing tennis or working out. What
they may not know is that he also enjoys cooking, dancing, and traveling.
